Hello Friends! Well, The Swipe has had a very interesting and busy year, as we have re-branded and re-packaged our product. As you can see, The Swipe is now light blue in colour with a new logo, new foil pouch, and new counter top display box, and is just as effective as ever! Here are a couple of pics of our eagerly and long awaited stock arriving at our offices:

We also attended Trowbridge Village Pump festival which was a great success and a lot of fun! We made many new friends and heard some great music. Here are just a few of the musicians we met:

Danni Nicholls

A pretty and talented young country/alternative singer/songwriter with influences such as Jonny Cash, Dolly Parton, Martha wainwright, Carole King. You can check out her new EP ‘Heavy Shoes’ at www.danninicholls.co.uk

Sam Brookes

A cool, calm and collected young Guitarist, singer and songwriter, with oodles of talent and influences such as Davy Graham, Tim Buckley, Joni Mitchell and Willy Mason. A great performer. Check him out at www.myspace.com/sambrookes

Kevin Brown

Kevin has 30 years behind him as a recording artist, writer and performer. He is a bluesman tought by Son House and has 2 albums, ‘Mojave dust’ and his latest release, ‘Tin Church’. My personal favourite at the moment is ‘Ned, The Kids Bob Dylan’

A 9 year old, larger than life guitarist, singer, songwriter who oozes confidence and charisma and really is the ‘Kids’ Bob Dylan, with his own approach….and very much his own lyrics! He performed several times at the open mic sessions at Trowbridge, to great acclaim, and also performed outside our stall….and our sales of the Swipe rocketed! We (Giles, myself and our good friend and guitarist, Chris… sadly Jeremy couldn’t make it) are off to Bristol this weekend (19th sept) to set up a stand at the very first Bristol Guitar Show. It sounds like a very personal and fun show, and we are really looking forward to it…if you are in the area, come and see us there.
